Welcome to the SAA Xmas Party event page, hosted by Associazione Studenti SAA (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy.

    • Full Name

    • Email Address

    • Student ID Number (if purchasing a student-rate ticket)

  • Data we collect automatically: When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical data, including:

    • Device and Usage Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and information about how you interact with our site (e.g., pages visited, time spent, clicks).

 

3. How and Why We Use Your Data (Lawful Basis)

 

We only use your data when we have a legal basis to do so under GDPR:

  • To Fulfill a Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): We use your Name, Email, and Student ID to process your ticket purchase.

    • Purpose: To manage your registration, send you your ticket, provide customer support, and communicate important event updates.

    • Purpose (Student ID): To verify your eligibility for the student-priced ticket at the event entrance.

  • Based on Your Explicit Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR):

    • Marketing: If you actively opt-in (e.g., by checking a box), we will use your Email Address to send you newsletters and marketing communications about our own future events and activities. You can withdraw this consent at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in the email.

    • Analytics & Advertising: We use certain cookies and tracking tools (see Cookie Policy) based on your consent, which you provide via our cookie banner.

  • Based on Our Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR):

    • Website Improvement: We analyze aggregated, anonymized user behavior data to understand how our website is used, to improve its functionality, and to ensure its security.

 

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

 

We do not, and will not, sell your personal data to any third parties.

  • Event Venue: We may share a guest list (Name) with the event venue (OGR Torino) for security and check-in purposes.

    • Analytics Services (e.g., Microsoft Clarity): To understand how users interact with our website (e.g., heatmaps, session recordings) on an aggregated basis to improve usability.

  • Event Data (Name, Email, Student ID): Retained for a reasonable period after the event to resolve any post-event inquiries.

  • Financial Records: Data related to ticket transactions will be kept in accordance with Italian tax and accounting laws (typically 10 years).
